Save-the-Date for the “Rainbows in glass tubes”
Upcoming STEM Event the Evening of December 10th!
Our STEM programming continues with our “Radical Reactions” show on Wednesday, December 10th at 6:30 PM. Open to all families and featuring one of the Pacific Science Center’s most popular science shows, students will, in their comfy pajamas, discover what happens when chemistry bursts onto the stage with radical reactions!
Students from kindergarten to fifth grade are invited to come in their pajamas (fun but optional!) and enjoy milk and cookies provided by the Laurelhurst PTA. Once the show starts, we will (secretly, shhh!!!) learn important scientific concepts and see how radical reactions happen!. Students will get to see rainbows in glass tubes on our very own cafeteria stage and performed by our partners at the Pacific Center.
All Laurelhurst students, along with their families, are invited to join in this fun community-learning event.
We are seeking a few “Radical Reactions” parent volunteers. Look for an email to the room parent network or contact Bobby Shashidhar [email protected] or Jincey Goggin[email protected]for more information on volunteering on December 10th.
From the PTA and the team at STEM Night – thank you for building STEM power here at Laurelhurst!
