Invitation to Share YOUR Musical Expertise with the Laurelhurst Elementary School Community
The Vocal Music Program at Laurelhurst Elementary School is looking for individuals with musical training and/or expertise in various musical traditions who are willing to share their abilities with the students at Laurelhurst Elementary. Possible opportunities include planning a lesson demonstration (in coordination with the vocal music teacher) to share with one of our music classes or aiding in accompanying a grade level ensembles in one of our school-wide musical performances. Of particular interest are individuals with expertise or experience with musical styles or traditions that may be less common to our community, though individuals with all manner of experience are desired. This is a wonderful way to connect to our students and community in a unique, powerful and positive way.
If you are interested, please contact our vocal music teacher Bethany Grant-Rodriguez at[email protected].
