Countdown to Science Fair!

Countdown to Science Fair!

It’s a night of cool experiments at STEM Night on March 4, 2015

Science FairLet’s countdown to the Science Fair on Wednesday, March 4th at 6:30 PM.  Open to all families featuring hands-on experimentation alongside great community partners and fantastic parent and 5th grade student volunteers, our students put the scientific method to practice by using their curious minds and asking questions.

STEM’s Countdown to Science Fair is one-hour event dedicated to supporting Laurelhurst students in thinking like a scientists. Come and help our young scientists prepare for the April science fair and have fun learning first-hand that science is less about having all the right answers, than it is about learning to ask the right questions.

We are actively recruiting parent volunteers for the March event.  Please consider volunteering your time towards the worthwhile goal of helping students learn through fun and experimentation how to think like scientists.   Contact Bobby Shashidhar ([email protected]) or Jincey Goggin ([email protected]) for more information on volunteering on March 4th

From the PTA and the STEM Night Team – we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday March 4th at 6:30 pm for a fun night of learning.  Thank you for helping to build STEM power here at Laurelhurst!
